Abstract:

Three new species of the genus Neoplatyara MALLOCH are described from Japan: Neoplatyura elongata spec. nov. N. maruyamaensis spec. nov. and N. cognata spec. nov.. Another species, N. kunashiriensis ZAITZEV described from the Kuril Islands, is newly recorded from the main islands of Japan, and its female is described for the first time. A key to the Japanese species of Neoplatyura is given.
