Abstract: | Three Japanese species of the genus Urytalpa are examined. Urytalpa sapporoensis (Okada) is transferred from Zelmira. Urytalpa yoshidai and U. crassicauda are described as new to science. Morphological characters indicate that U. yoshidai is closely related to Asindulum montanum Roder, and the genus Urytalpa is indicated to be non-monophyletic. A key to the Japanese species is given. |
