| Abstract: | Sciarid flies collected by J. Roháček and J. Ševčík in different habitats of the Poľana Biosphere Reserve (Central Slovakia) in 2005 - 2008 by means of Malaise traps have been examined. In this collection, 104 species are represented. Two species, Corynoptera polana sp. n. and Cratyna monumenta sp. n., are described as new for science and further 82 species are recorded for the first time for the fauna of Slovakia. A list of all recorded species is given. |
