Sabrosky, 1999: 67: The name cinerea has usually been credited to Meigen, but Meigen cited “Bol. cinerea Hgg.,” placed the description in quotation marks also, and credited it to Wiedemann who said the material was in the collection of Graf von Hoffmansegg.
