Comments:
The genus Palaeodocidia Sasakawa, 2004 was delimited from Diadocidia based on the number of the flagellar segments, stated to be 14 in Palaeodocidia and 15 in Diadocidia. This was probably on the basis of “2+15” antennal segments being reported in error by Laštovka & Matile (1972). The number of flagellomeres in Diadocidia is actually 14. The first antennal flagellomere in Palaeodocidia is four times as long as wide and anepisternum setose as is typical of the subgenus Adidocidia (Bechev & Chandler, 2011)
