Lygistorrhina hamoni (after Matile, 1996)
Morphology:
Male. Consistent with the original description of L. legrandi, which differs by the coloration of the antennae: pedicel brown instead of yellow, flagellomeres 1-4 brown, flagellomere 5 orange, flagellomere 6 bright yellow, flagellomeres 7-11 brown, 13 and 14 brownish (13 brown in legrandi). Mediotergite matte, not shiny, a dark brown wing spot extends to M1 (interrupted before the vein in legrandi). Only abdominal tergites II-IV with dark yellow bands at the base. Male genitalia very similar to L. legrandi, differing only by the tip apex of gonostylus blunt instead of acute and tergite IX slightly wider.
Size:
Wing length: 2.4 mm.
