Remarks: A species name with a problematic identity, leaving old records questionable. The remaining type material at MNHN consists of two males, one Allodia truncata and one Allodia zaitzevi. The latter was designated as the lectotype of A. ornaticollis by L. Matile (unpublished). Pending on nomenclatural changes the species identity follows Zaitzev (2003).
