Habitat:Ostroverchova (1971) has reared this species from Lactarius, and Sack (1907) has found a larva on one of the Polyporaceae s. lat. Some adults have been captured with light, air-suction (Plassmann 1979, 1980a) and sugar-bait traps. The collecting biotopes given are Betula nana vegetation, an alder wood, a hazel grove, birch forest, and mixed and coniferous forests.
